“Look, I have a condition........ If you agree to marry my elder son afterward, then I’ll welcome your sister into this family,” Mrs. Rajeshri Malhotra stated firmly, her demand leaving Aridnya utterly stunned.
“Mrs. Malhotra, perhaps you’re forgetting one thing—I’m already a mother to a child,” Aridnya replied, her voice steady but laced with defiance.
She stood in the middle of the rooftop, clenching and unclenching her fists. The cool breeze swept over her, yet her insides burned with rage. Her dry lips quivered as her eyes fixed on the woman in a scarlet-red Paithani saree, her back turned toward her.
“It doesn’t matter,” Mrs. Malhotra said coldly. “You have 24 hours to give me your answer. If you accept my condition, I assure you, Aashvi will be embraced as the granddaughter of this family. We will treat her as our own child—this I promise. The choice is yours.”

“Aridnya, there are a few things I need to make clear. Now that we’re married, from this day forward, Aashvi won’t just carry my name—she’ll also be my responsibility. I’ll care for her, love her, and treat her as my own daughter. She deserves that, and you know you can count on me for it.”
He paused, then added, “As for marriage… I never imagined marrying anyone other than..…... But I’ve always believed in going with the flow, and perhaps this was written in the stars. I’ve accepted it.”
He stood silently, watching her as her gaze lingered on the dark night sky. Slowly, she turned to face him. Their eyes met, and he nodded gently.
It was the first day of their married life.
"Your IVF is complete. Congratulations, Ms. Khanna, you're pregnant," the doctor informed Aridnya. A small smile appeared on her lips as she gently placed a hand on her stomach, sensing something within her.
Tears of joy welled up in her eyes, and she felt overwhelmed by the flood of emotions the news brought.
